The Snapshot policy feature provides snapshot orchestration at scale (1,024 snaps per storage group). The feature simplifies snapshot management for snapshots.

The Snapshot Policy Storage Group list view displays the storage groups that are associated with a snapshot policy.
Steps

Select a storage system that supports snapshot policies.

Do one of the following:
- Click the storage group number on the Protection dashboard.
- Select
and click the storage group number on a snapshot policy card.
- Select
and click the compliance number or non-compliance number on a snapshot policy card.

View the following parameters displayed in the Snapshot Policy Storage Group list view:
- Storage Group—Storage group name
- Policy Name—Snapshot policy name
- Compliance—Compliance status
- Secured—Secured status
- State—State
- Inherited—Inherited status
The following controls are available:

View the details panel for the storage group.
The following parameters are displayed:
- Storage Group—Storage group name (clicking the name brings you to the Storage Group list view).
- Policy Name—Snapshot policy name
- Snapshots—Number of snapshots (clicking the number brings you to the Data Protection tab in the Storage Groups details view).
- Max Snapshot Count—The maximum snapshot count
- Snapshots in policy time window—Number of snapshots in policy time window
- Red snapshot compliance count—The red snapshot compliance count
- Compliance—Compliance status(clicking the number brings you to the Storage Group snapshot compliance view).
- Inherited—Inherited status
- Secured—Secured status
- Active—Active status
